Overcoming the Crisis

Educational Courses and Approach: how to overcome the crisis.

At such a difficult period in time for youth, we need models: courses and educational activities that can provide not only the technical skills required by companies and the job market, but also tools to help students truly understand themselves and provide the best possible approach for a quickly changing reality. The Fondazione Mondo Digitale (FMD) is working to promote the development of a democratic knowledge society that forges innovation, instruction, inclusion and fundamental values, a society that provides benefits to any individual without any type of discrimination.

The mission of the non-profit organization, guided from its outset in 2001 as the Digital Youth Consortium by Professor Emeritus Tullio De Mauro, is to promote the exchange of knowledge, inclusion and social innovation with particular attention to all those categories at risk of exclusion (elders, immigrants, young unemployed individuals, etc.). The Fondazione Mondo Digitale is seated at the Rome Città Educativa, the centre for educational innovation and best practices. The FMD operates at the local, national and international level, elaborating action models that can be replicated in any environment.
