Today, Tuesday, October 3 (3-6 pm), Project Mind the Gap, funded by a call from the Agency for Territorial Cohesion, will be presented to families and schools in Milan’s Municipio 4. The event is organized by the Education Direction – Scholastic and Educational Services Area of the Milan Council, in collaboration with Action Aid Italia, Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Junior Achievement.
The objective of the project is to reduce school dropout and educational poverty rates, experimenting with activities and services that will help adolescents in making their scholastic and professional choices. Digital skills and the innovative use of technology is fundamental in this, and the project addresses these issues with a series of labs for students and faculty that will be presented at the event.
Tomorrow, from 8 to 9, “Start App” kicks off with a course on key competences for digital citizenship: digital communication and STEAM environment. The first meeting will introduce students to technical-scientific careers and future professions. The on-site training course will be attended by students from the Galdus Professional School in Milan.
