Demo session at the Rome San Raffaele.
IRCCS San Raffaele in Rome has signed a Letter of Intent with the Fondazione Med-Or, the Sultan Moulay Slimane University in Morocco and the University of Jordan to strengthen cooperation in the medical field.
The objective of the inter-university agreement, based on the growing importance of the healthcare and scientific sector in Mediterranean countries, is to promote cooperation and collaboration in the sector through the “Medical Med Universities” Project. In particular, the agreement addresses medical research, telemedicine, professional training, and e-learning.
In view of the delegation's visit and as part of the joint work day scheduled today, there will also be a demonstration session on the Metaverse, organised in collaboration with Engineering, a leading company in the digital transformation sector, and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. From 10.30 to 11.30, Meta visors will be available in the Albertini Hall for participants to experience virtual reality scenarios relevant to clinical practice. The Introducing the Mediverse and its Application in Medicine demonstration session is open to doctors, researchers, and healthcare professionals; from 11.30 to 12:00, it will be reserved for international guests.
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale will be represented by Elisa Amorelli, Communications Coordinator, and Coach Lara Forgione.
