Today, from 3:15 to 6:00 on, students attending the Istituto europeo di design in Milan are invited to a special lecture that will be held by Valentino Catricalà, Artistic Director of the Media Art Festival.
The lecture will focus on the role of the Phyrtual Innovation Gym in promoting media art, creative professions and the project connected to the Officina degli artisti. Valentino Catricalà will also present two calls: Call for artists and Call for Edu.
IED students will be the first to learn about new ideas for the 2016 edition of the Media Art Festival, which after the great success of the pilot edition, will now be held in collaboration with the BNL BNP Paribas Group.
The "BNL Media Art Festival," which will be held at the Rome MAXXI on Aprile 13-17, 2016, is based on an original format that contains a range of different content ranging from the "Media Art: the New Italian Challenge" Conference with prominent sector festivals and museums (Ars Electronica, Austria; Zkm-Center for Arts and Media, Germany; Media Art Biennale, Poland) to works of art created by students and a family area with media art for all ages.
