While we wait for the awards ceremony that will be held in Milan, let’s find out a bit mmore about Project Handy Hand, a finalist at the Global Youth Startup Awards 2015, promoted by Hype in collaboration with EMGI and other international partners to encourage youth enterprise and innovation in school.
The Youth Startup Competition Awards Cermony will be held on Tuesday, October 27 (5-8 pm) in the Israeli Pavillion at Expo Milano. The five finalist teams will present their innovation and social inclusion project to entrepreneurs and stakeholders who will evaluate the project and proclaim the best entrepreneurial idea.
Gabriele Caiazzo, Gabriele Caiazzo, student at the IIS Carlo e Nello Rosselli School from Aprilia (Latina) developed the “Handy Hand” Project with the support of Prof. Alfio Benedetti. The project involves a 3D-printed bionic prosthesis of a right hand tratta di una mano bionica with indiependent movement of the five fingers and remote control via a sensor-equipped glove.
