Project Io, Tu, Noi, Autobiographical Routes to Integration, which is co-financed by the European Union (EIF, Action 3/Year 2012), has started 57 digital storytelling laboratories, involving 1177 students (994 Italian and 183 foreign), surpassing all planned parameters. Thanks to the activities of the mediators, 131 foreign families have been involved in the classroom activities.
During the month of November, teachers were trained on digital storytelling by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, and between January and February two of the tree meetings planned with the Università per Stranieri in Siena were held on intercultural and multi-lingual didactics.
A project page (accessible only to registered users) has been created on the Phyrtual.org site to serve as an area to exchange and share materials from the workshops as well as to exchange ideas and doubts with the trainers. Moreover, the page also works as a support tool for the technicalities of the labs and allows users to contact FMD experts on-line. About 40 teachers have registered on the page.
