At 2:30 on Tuesday, January 24, 12 over-sixty students from Bologna will return to school for a the the digital literacy courses organized by Project Pane e Internet per Nonni e Nipoti (Bread and Internet for Grandparents and Grandchildren). The students are Luciana M., Maria Anna, Adolfo, Marisa, Rosa, Luciana R., Giancarlo, Giuseppe, Anna Maria, Rosanna, William e Carmen.
A lively team of digital natives from the Istituto d'istruzione superiore Aldini Valeriani-Sirani will act as teachers. Notwithstanding their young age, they already have a good deal of experience: Alessandro, Amine, John, Giovanni, Matteo, Roberto, Gennaro, Milos, Riccardo, Simone, Mattia, Vincenzo, Davide, Alessio, Igor, Taishir, Andrea, Fabio, Ayoub, Federico, Yuri, Alex, Cristiano, Vincenzo, Alessandro, Mirko, Matteo e Rafi.
Many are Italian, others were born in Bologna, but have foreign parents and even others were born in countries far, far away … but they are all masters of the new language. They are ready to acts as tutors, interpreters and mediators, to act as bridges between the analogic and the digital worlds, across generations and cultures.
Two teachers will coordinate the classroom work. They are Li Zan Chou, IT Professor and Alessandra Rebecchi, English Teacher.
