They know exactly what they need to do. As soon as they arrived, it’s clear that they have studied the various areas of activity in which the FMD is active and they have chosen the best one for their field of studies. The objective of the Knowledge Volunteers is to share knowledge, competences and skills with others. Today, the Phyrtual Innovation Gym hosts two volunteers who notwithstanding their curricula have decided to continue learning and teach directly on the field.
Eva (22) is a new electronic engineer graduate from Peru who plans to continue studying to obtain a Masters degree. Here is what she plans to do at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym: "I can teach students how to build an economic solar panel and I can help out at the Fab Lab with all things robotics from electronic components to programming.” Eva will be on-hand twice a week and possibly one day during the weekend. “I would like to use all the knowledge is acquired at university,” she explains.
Juliana is from Brazil. She is a journalist and is studying for a Masters in e-learning in Italy. She will be available throughout the month of August to teach marketing, communication and prepare didactic materials and e-learning activities. “To be a good volunteer, you need to feel involved,” explains Juliana. “You need passion and inspiration, and have to be ready to always learn more and improve.”
