From digital writing to self-esteem: today, students in classes four and five will participate in the 26 different workshops organised to uncover the “mental traps” that still continue to influence and condition the education and employment of young women.

Our culture and our families continue to influence the choices that women make since they were young girls. Indeed, father play with both sons and daughters aged six to ten, while mothers often involve daughters in domestic activities.
This is the data that emerges from the Employment – Instruction – Education: hidden traps in female employment research project prepared by McKinsey & Company and Valore D that was presented yesterday at the Department for Equal Opportunities.
Twelve schools from Lazio have decided to actively participate in the various initiatives organized by the second edition of Pink Cloud, promoted by Microsoft. The Fondazione Mondo Digitale, a Pink Cloud partner that focuses on the technical and scientific training of young Italian female students, has drawn headmasters, teachers and students into this initiative. In fact, this year the FMD dedicates even more space to training and the many job opportunities that are available to young women.
A full day of training will be held at the Sapienza University of Rome Faculty of Engineering on via Eudossiana 18 from 10 am.
The twelve schools involved in Pink Cloud by FMD:
• Antonio Labriola (Ostia)
• Kennedy
• Liceo di Ceccano (Frosinone)
