The new school year has just started and the FMD’s activities for schools are already in full operation. The school year was inaugurated with a teacher-training webinar organised by Project Meet No Neet.
The labs at the Officina – New Jobs Workshop, which opened up again on September 7, address school dropouts, the NEET Phenomenon and other scholastic issues.
This year, the knowledge volunteers only had a short break in August. They were already back to work on the first of September in the post offices around Italy hosting pilot courses for Grandparents on the Internet at the Post Office. In fact, by the end of this week, the elders in Ascoli and Mantua will have completed the 15-lesson programme.
The new programme of educational activities organised by the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, which increasingly resembles a youth accelerator, will be presented at a public event on Wednesday, September 24. New features include the Educational Fab Lab for young makers. The World Robotics Champions from China and various representatives from the National Phyrtual Innovation Gym Network (over 100 schools in 17 Italian Regions) will also be present.
