Tomorrow's meeting with Irene Sardellitti for Coding Girls

As already communicated by email to schools, we remind you that tomorrow, Tuesday 1st April, from 11am to 12pm, teachers and their classes are invited to participate in an online session of role modelling with Irene Sardellitti, National Technology Officer of Microsoft Italy. It's a unique opportunity for students to meet a leading figure in the tech world and discover the challenges and opportunities offered by artificial intelligence.

During the meeting, Irene Sardellitti will share her professional background and offer food for thought on:

  • AI scenarios and future prospects
  • Advantages and critical issues of human-machine collaboration
  • The most in-demand skills in the digital sector
  • The value of female experience in the technological world

The session, reserved for schools in Campania and Sardinia, is an initiative implemented in synergy with the Ital.IA Lab and Coding Girls projects.
 

Irene Sardellitti is the National Technology Officer of Microsoft Italy. She helps private and public organisations adopt technological solutions in the fields of cybersecurity, cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Before joining Microsoft, Irene was Head of AI and Design Services at Snam. Previously she worked in the field of innovation and cutting-edge technologies: she led the innovation services of the Kilometro Rosso Science and Technology Park and was vice president for industrial activities of the Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Machines. During her professional career she gained significant experience in EU digital policies as policy officer in artificial intelligence and robotics at the European Commission. She obtained a PhD in robotics from the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa and was a visiting student at Stanford's Computer Science Department and a post-doctoral researcher at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa. She received the Inspiringfifty Italy award in 2024.
