Five teams selected at the RomeCup are present.
The European Robotics Championship, which started yesterday in Varaždin (Croatia), will continue until Saturday, June 10. The European RoboCup Junior Championship 2023, the fourth edition of EURCJ, is organised by the Croatian RoboCup Junior Committee and the Croatian Robotics Society in collaboration with other European Regional RoboCup Junior Committees. There will be three competition categories: On stage, Rescue and Soccer.
The Italian teams that placed second at RomeCup 2023 are in Varaždin, while the winners qualified directly for the World Championships (July 4-10, Bordeaux, France) [see final ranking of RomeCup 2023].
In the Rescue Simulation category, there will be Team Bob's Brains from IIS Vito Volterra in San Donà di Piave (Ve), accompanied by Prof. Fabrizio Vendramin.
In the Soccer Open League category, there will be Team CarPa from IIS Piazza della Resistenza in Monterotondo (Rome) and IIS Pacinotti-Archimede from Rome, accompanied by Professors Paolo Torda and Giampaolo Pucci, and Team MegaHertz from ’IIS Cobianchi in Verbania with Professor Raimondo Sgrò. Team SPQR1 from ITIS Galileo Galilei in Rome, with Professor Massimilano Manfrè, will compete in the Soccer Light Weight Category.
In the On Stage category, one of the two teams representing Italy is ArchimeDance, with Professors Cristina Strano and Giovanni Giustiniani from IIS Archimede in Catania.
