Strategic skills, themed open days and digital licences for teachers and students

Schools are called upon to educate informed citizens who are able to act responsibly and creatively in an increasingly complex and digital society. To support school administrators, teachers and students on this journey, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale ETS presents its 2025-2026 training programme, developed in collaboration with universities and major companies such as Google, Microsoft, SAP and Amazon.

The aim is to provide concrete and up-to-date tools to address the challenges of the present and the future: digital citizenship, artificial intelligence, gender equality, inclusion, cross-cutting skills and emerging professions.

Themed open days

To illustrate the various courses, we have organised free online open days lasting 30 minutes, dedicated to specific training focuses:

  • Educational robotics, coding and artificial intelligence
  • 9 September, 5-5.30 p.m.
  • STEAM and female empowerment
  • 10 September, 5-5.30 p.m.
  • Digital citizenship and cybersecurity
  • 11 September, 5-5.30 p.m.
  • Jobs of the future and strategic skills
  • 15 September, 5-5.30pm
  • Educational innovation and inclusion
  • 23 September, 5-5.30pm
The digital licence for digital citizenship

Among this year's new features, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is also presenting a course dedicated to secondary school teachers for the award of the Digital Licence for Digital Citizenship.

The initiative is inspired by the AGCOM guidelines (Resolution No. 177/24/CONS) and offers a modular programme that integrates the European DigComp and DigCompEdu frameworks. The aim is to enhance the role of teachers as facilitators and multipliers of digital skills, providing micro-certificates for each module and a final certification, which is also valid for teaching civic education.

Innovative tools for teachers and students

Alongside the educational courses, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale provides new and original tools to enhance the learning experience:

  • the Personal Ecosystem Canvas, designed by scientific director Alfonso Molina to support personal development and well-being;
  • the FMD Academy, a real virtual training ground where you can learn how to use technology through live events, live webinars and on-demand videos.
Free activities and PCTO recognition

All activities are free of charge and, for secondary schools, can be recognised as Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation (PCTO), subject to the signing of an agreement with the school.

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale ETS is accredited by the Ministry of Education and Merit for the training of school staff (Directive No. 170/2016).
