A new agreement has been signed with the "Emilio Segrè" Department of Physics and Chemistry at the University of Palermo (DiFC), directed by Prof. Stefana Milioto.

The objective of the agreement is to activate collaboration “for the development of educational and coaching activities throughout Italy, as well as devise new educational and research programmes.”

In particular, FMD and DiFC aim to promote experimental and innovative courses employing new technology for students at all school levels. The activities may be held in a variety of places: Phyrtual Innovation Gym, schools, university labs and other locations.

Based on the peer-to-peer learning model that has already been successfully experimented in many FMD programmes, university students will be called to acquire specific competences in various Phyrtual Innovation Gym areas (coding, robotics, digital manufacturing, gaming, immersive reality, etc.) and then share them through coaching activities with their younger peers.

Collaboration is free and also entails the co-development of projects for public calls and project funding.
