Strategies for reactivating young people who are not in education, employment or training
In a context where youth unemployment and early school leaving represent crucial challenges for social inclusion, digital skills are emerging as a strategic factor for reactivating young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). In the article by the Director General Mirta Michilli, published in the magazine Agenda Digitale, the main strategies for supporting young people are analysed, emphasising the importance of innovative training courses and integrated support networks.
Mirta Michilli suggests a model of action based on a systemic approach, in which digital skills, guidance and personal development are intertwined to create effective pathways to labour inclusion. A model that focuses on the role of educational communities and support networks to transform digital skills into an engine of growth and opportunity.
For years, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale has been committed to these issues with targeted projects, capable of connecting young people, schools, companies and local areas, to shape a more equitable and sustainable future.
