Chiara Torchia is a teacher at the Istituto comprensivo G. Rodari in Soveria Mannelli in the Province of Catanzaro. Chiara placed third in the "Best Volunteer for Didactic Innovation” in the "Knowledge Volunteers" Competition.
The group of tutors, who she coordinated during the school year – classes 2A and 2B, won the "Best Junior Volunteer" Award with the following motivation: “For their spirit of initiative and enthusiasm, their ability to face challenges, work as a team, be empathic, have fun, learn and exchange knowledge. For having expressed, through the project, all the profoundest characteristics of life education.”
