The Inquiry Method. Designing a research path with AI
Curated by Fondazione Mondo Digitale
With Annamaria Bove
Inclusion stems from everyday teaching. With PariPasso, Rizzoli Education promotes a school capable of valuing differences and supporting the cognitive, emotional and digital growth of everyone, integrating inclusive tools, methodologies and practices in a structural and consistent manner.
In this second appointment, we explore how to transform artificial intelligence into a cognitive partner to investigate complex phenomena and promote investigative learning.
The webinar illustrates how to integrate AI into the Inquiry Based Learning method, using data research, analysis and visualisation tools to:
- formulate meaningful questions;
- construct and test hypotheses;
- interpret information critically;
- communicate results in different languages.
To make the course practical and immediately transferable to the classroom, Annamaria Bove will work on a case study related to a highly topical issue, capable of stimulating debate, critical reflection and analysis of sources and data from different perspectives. An interdisciplinary example that shows how AI can support research work without replacing the thinking of teachers and students, but rather enhancing it.
The speaker
Annamaria Bove is a secondary school teacher, freelance journalist and visual storyteller. For years, she has been involved in teaching with technology and teaching Italian, experimenting with innovative approaches that combine languages, media and digital tools.
She collaborates with school networks, training institutions and national associations, developing courses that integrate teaching methodologies, technology and digital citizenship. For her, methodology is at the heart of every educational process. She is currently exploring teaching models that integrate artificial intelligence into collaborative practices, with a view to making schools increasingly aware, critical and creative spaces. PariPasso is an ongoing programme with a solid scientific structure and a committee of experts who ensure its consistency and effectiveness.
Today's event is a valuable opportunity to reflect on how inclusion and teaching effectiveness can go hand in hand, thanks in part to the ethical and conscious use of artificial intelligence.
See you at 6.30 p.m.!
