"There have always been women by my side during all the most important steps of my professional career. This reminds me that when we pursue something with somebody who has our same passion, it all becomes much simpler.” This is how Anita Cancelliere, a marketing and advertising expert, faces the new challenge of She Means Business, the Facebook Programme implemented in Italy, in collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, to promote women in enterprise.

 

"I chose to be a coach for #SheMeansBusiness to support, as much as I can, the women who are working to make their dreams come true,” Anita adds. This afternoon, Anita will hold the first training session in Veneto, held in collaboration with the City of Padua. The appointment is at 4 pm at the Palazzo Moroni.

Forty-five percent of women in Veneto who participate in training have already started an entrepreneurial activity, even in emerging fields (Networker, Home staging, Interior design etc.). In terms of traditional sectors, the most represented are tourism and education. The youngest participant is a student aged 22, while the woman with the most experience is an education consultant aged 70.  Over 20% of the participants are 50 or older, while less than 10% is looking for employment.

Who is Anita Cancelliere

Anita has been working in marketing and advertising for 11 years. Since 2010, she has focused on digital transformation both as a consultant and teacher and as a temporary manager, helping agencies and enterprises to communicate and advertise on-line. She lives with her suitcase always packed.
