Today, the Phyrtual Innovation Gym will host a meeting with the CNA Pensionati Regional Presidents from Friuli Venezia Giulia, Sicily, Campania, Puglia and Marche to extend the project alliance, which brought two editions of Project “Amongst Generations – United for Work” to seven regions: Lazio, Campania, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Sicily and Veneto.
Based on the success of the previous editions, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, CNA Pensionati and Google have decided to continue promoting the intergenerational learning model that provides benefits both to youth and adults.
Adults and elders who find themselves excluded from the job market (on account of age, lay offs and the termination of personal businesses) hold a vast trove of knowledge and professional experience that they have matured over the years. And this wealth often goes lost. The project aims to retrieve and exploit this know-how, as a source of knowledge for youth and for possible new work opportunities.
Youth and elders are called to exchange their know-how. The former will teach elders about the opportunities provided by the web for new entrepreneurial activities and ideas, while the younger generation will receive precious advice from the elders about their professional experiences and how to assess the feasibility of project ideas. This cycle will lead to the creation of an educational and professional alliance that will provide more direction and reality to the projects of young men and women. Google scholarship holders will be fundamental to the project.

- Seminars with Google experts
- Guided visits to artisanal enterprises
