While for school-work programmes may be “vitual” for schools, technical education is fundamental for their integration in companies. According to the headmaster, the students need to put in the conditions to learn to interact with their company tutors and verify that their skills are suit the market demand.

“Sandro Rosiglioni, the entrepreneur with whom I shared the award, is a former student of mine who graduated in 1996. Students are learning about technical planning and acquiring site experience in his hospital working sites,” explains Prof Maria Punturo.

We won with the development of a “Medical Gas Control Device for Hospitals.” Working in this way, strongly motivates students to learn as they see how the knowledge they acquire at school is applied in real life.
