From October 10-12, the Città della scienza will host a convention dedicated to the world of school. The event, which is promoted by the Fondazione Idis-Città della Scienza and The Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, promotes greater dialogue amongst the protagonists of this world. The aim is to focus on the needs and goals of young students and their educational opportunities in the context of technological progress, demand and trends for the School of the Future.
 
The main issues addressed by the 2012 edition are: Innovation in School and Didactics 2.0, Education on Correct Life Styles, Space and Gender Dimension (Progetto TWIST).
 
Three days of meetings, conferences, showcases, workshops and scientific and methodological seminars.
 
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale will be present with a stand to present projects underway with schools. In particular, the liceo scientifico Francesco D'Assisi, the istituto comprensivo Via Manassei in Rome and the Direzione Didattica 2° Circolo Eboli in Eboli, will present their experiences.
 
Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will be present on October 10 at 2 pm in the Sala Saffo of the Città della Scienza for the seminar on In a School of Digital Natives - Experiences and Trends in Italy and Europe.
