Activities have kicked off at the 25 Digital Facilitation Centres co-managed by the City of Rome as part of a project funded by the PNRR, Mission 1, Component 1, Axis 1 – Measures 1.7.2 “Digital Facilitation Services Network,” Regione Lazio D.G.R. N. 1172 - 13/12/2022, with an investment of over one million euro.
The centres are mainly hosted by schools, elderly centres, municipal facilities and ETS offices involved in the co-design and co-management of the project.
The centres, which will be endowed with informational material (totems, posters, leaflets) and/or printed material promoting the available services, will be operative for no less than 24 hours a week, both on-site and on-line.
Digital facilitators are a new figure that introduce users to new technology and digital services, identifying the needs of individual citizens and providing support, personalised assistance and orientation by promoting a safe and conscientious use of the Internet, e-mail, apps, and digital public services. Moreover, training activities will be organised as micro-courses, both on-site and on-line, to reach out to the greatest audience possible.
