Roll Cloud. Working on the cloud with the Polytechnic University of Turin
As part of Roll Cloud. Working on the cloud, the free project that is part of the Opening Future programme, a joint project of Google Cloud, Intesa Sanpaolo and TIM Enterprise, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale ETS is organising, together with its partners, the ’ Skill Up Day’, an interactive training day aimed at university students, designed to offer a complete experience that combines training on emerging technologies and human resources management, with professionals in the sector.
OBJECTIVES
- Help young people develop digital and transversal skills
- Guide university students towards study and career opportunities
- Encourage young people to try their hand at a real case study, proposed by experts in the field.
TARGET AUDIENCE AND LOCATION
The event will take place at the Officine Grandi Riparazioni (OGR), in corso Castelfidardo n. 22, Turin. The program is aimed at all bachelor and master's students of all Piedmont universities, with registration closing when all places are filled.

How are companies redefining human resources management with the use of artificial intelligence? With the help of experts from the partnership, an overview of the world of new technologies, with an in-depth look at the most used AI methods and tools, in particular Gemini and Looker Studio.
11.45 | LAUNCH OF THE CHALLENGE AND GROUP WORK
In recent years, many companies have experienced rapid growth, with an increase in recruitment demands. However, some HR teams encounter difficulties in the recruitment process and in the subsequent stages of talent retention and professional development, also due to lack of time and the management of a growing volume of candidates and resources. In this context, how can Artificial Intelligence tools be of support?
Objective of the challenge: to find a solution to improve the process of recruiting, onboarding, retention and professional development of employees, with the integration of AI-based solutions.
Participants: students are divided into groups of 5 to 8 people.
Tools: Gemini for generating and optimising prompts, Looker Studio for data analysis and visualisation, Canvas for defining persona profiles.
During the challenge, corners will be set up where Opening Future's corporate experts, specialised in artificial intelligence and human resources, will support the groups as external consultants, offering suggestions and guidance. In addition, trainer Elisa Chierchiello will be available to support participants in the use of the work tools.
