The session at the Termoli facilities of the University of Molise (Department of Bioscience) will feature a challenge on GenAI in an ethical key promoted as part of Ital.IA Lab,the programme developed by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Microsoft to promote the opportunities of GenAI and the skills necessary to used it sustainably and inclusively.
Over 100 upper secondary school students from Molise (Istituto Omnicomprensivo Giordano, Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Majorana, Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Boccardi-Tiberio), guided by 7 tutors (master’s and PhD students) from the University of Molise, will participate in the creation of interactive stories produced with GenAI applications through a critical, ethical, and responsible approach.
Thanks to the transversal alliance, after having involved nearly 15,000 students in 30 Italian cities and 33 universities in the last edition, the programme provides young men and women with the opportunity to learn about and meet role models from the academic and business world, and be inspired by their stories, as well as learn about new professional opportunities.
