Students at theF. D’Assisi high school have developed a bilingual (English and Italian) interactive CD to study Cameroon’s culture as well as the environment and the condition of women in Africa.
These materials have been presented at the meetings on Africa that the school has organised with Martin Nkafu Nkemkia, President of the Lebialem Association for Twinning of schools (LATS) and head of Digital Bridge in Cameroon. “When an elder dies in Africa, it’s as if an entire library had burnt down,” explains Prof. Nkafu.
Federico Piana interviewed deputy principal Mario Moschetto for the Non un giorno qualsiasi radio programme broacast on Sunday October 10th on One0Five Live (Vatican Radio).
The materials developed by the D'Assisi high school are available on the project site: www.digitalbridge.info
