The Grandparents on internet model arrives to 18 schools and 7 Provinces in the Emilia Romagna region. The digital literacy plan includes the realization of a guide to useful websites organized in categories
The Pane e Internet project promoted by Emilia Romagna for the 2011-2013 Edition has been enriched by the intergenerational learning model thanks to the agreement between Fondazione Mondo Digitale and is now known as Pane e internet per nonni e nipoti/Bread and Internet for grandparents and grandchildren.
The successful model above that the Foundation has been applying with success for 8 years in Rome and elsewhere around the nation has now been brought to seven provinces in the Emilia Romagna Region: Bologna, Ferrara, Forlì-Cesena, Modena, Piacenza, Reggio Emilia and Rimini: students from schools at every level teach senior citizens the ABCs of information technology.
