Once again this year, we are bringing the Miss Robot module to life in the girls' camp
Once again this year, female high school students from the metropolitan city of Turin can participate in StemDays. The girls' camp will take place from 16 to 27 June at Toolbox Coworking, in Turin, Via Agostino da Montefeltro, 2 (Mauriziano Hospital area). Created to promote female empowerment and orientation towards STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), the camp offers a unique opportunity for personal growth and technological training. The programme, which is free of charge and valid as a Pathway for Transversal Skills and Orientation (PCTO), is promoted by the Fondazione Human+ and supported by Intesa Sanpaolo through the Formula programme in collaboration with Cesvi.
In the 2025 edition, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale is once again contributing to the educational design with the Miss Robot module, a practical workshop designed to stimulate the scientific curiosity and digital creativity of the participants. In the project work, the girls work together to build and programme a robotic arm.
The Miss Robot module is a transformative experience: using the learning by doing methodology, the girls learn by collaborating in teams, developing a concrete technological project and sharing it in public. An experiential, inclusive and stimulating setting that integrates humanistic and technical knowledge, transversal and digital skills, strengthening confidence, autonomy and critical thinking.
Participation in the module is an integral part of the two-week camp, which also includes empowerment workshops and opportunities to interact with trainers, tutors and role models.
The camp is open to 36 female students in their third or fourth year of secondary school (technical institutes, high schools and vocational schools), both public and private. Applications must be received by the Human+ Foundation by 15 May.
