Marcello Pistilli has been working on computers since 1970. He has witnessed the evolution of ICT technology from large mainframe computers to tablets. Over the past eighteen years, Marcello has specialised in security.
Today, Marcello is 64 years old and has decided to become a social agent. He is committed to helping local elderly communities learn more about digital issues through Project Acting: Social Agents Promoting Active Ageing through ICT. The project is implemented as part of the Leonardo Da Vinci Programme (Multilateral Projects and Innovation Transfer) and is financed by the European Commission.
“We are the first security problem,” explains Marcello, who participated in the workshop held last Friday to present the e-learning platform integrated into the www.acting4elderly.eu website.
