While a part of the FMD staff is busy facing the needs of schools and the development of new learning environments [see news: New Digital Environments], another part is busy weaving new networks from Teramo to Berlin.
Social Media Against Bullying
The Anti-Bullying Centre at Dublin City University hosts the second international conference of Project Sonet-Bull, a project financed by the Erasmus+ Programme to identify common prevention and constrast strategies on school bullying. The appointment is for today, November 18 at 2 pm. The event will illustrate the results of the first on-line platform dedicated to schools, families and all the actors involved in the phenomenon. Annaleda Mazzucato will be present on behalf of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale [see Social Media Against Bullying].
A Rosier Future
The Palazzo Marino in Milan celebrates the conclusion of the third edition of Pink Cloud, a socio-cultural initiative promoted by Microsoft Italy, after six months of activity. The meeting will be held this morning (9:30 am – 1 pm) with a number of guests, witnesses and surprises. Ana Lain will be present on behalf of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale along with many of the young women involved in the initiative [see news A Rosier Future].
Active Didactics
Also in Milan, Confindustria is hosting the Orientainsegnanti Conference in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of University, Education and Research, which aims to provide an opportunity f or teachers to reflect on the role that they play in didactic innovation and the promotion of school-work programmes. The event also features the presentation of the “Didattiva” Awards.
Maria Punturo, who teaches at the Rome IIS Pacinotti-Archimede (lead partner in the National Network of Phyrtual Innovation Gyms), also participated in the competition. Ana Lain, School Innovation Manager for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, will also be present at the conference. [see news Active Didactics].
Kairos FabLab
At 11 am, Teramo will host the presentation press conference for the Kairos Fablab, the third Phyrtual Innovation Gym to be opened in Italy thanks to the financial support of the Fondazione Tercas, the help of Bishop Michele Seccia and advice from the Fondazione Mondo Digitale that conceived and developed the first Phyrtual Innovation Gym and promoted the national network. Ilaria Graziano will be present on behalf of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale [see news: The “Kairos FabLab”].
