In Italy, over six million people donate their time to others every day. This includes the 40,000 knowledge volunteers that participate in educational and transformative volunteering activities organized by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
Knowledge volunteers are individual of all ages and nationalities who decided to dedicate some of their time to social projects to improve their communities and fight social exclusion, promote the free exchange of knowledge, experiences and competences, promote active lifestyles and address the issue of NEETs to create new job opportunities.
