Virtual Reality for Hospitals

RomeCup 2023: high school students visit a simulation lab.

Thanks to the use of a virtual anatomic table, medical students can analyse and explore the human body through a digital interface, also remotely. The students who participated in RomeCup 2023 had the opportunity to explore this new didactic tool that is now common in the medical schools of Italian universities.

For two days, the Rome Campus Bio-Medico University opened the doors of its simulation lab to younger students, who were given the opportunity to experiment with this service that can provide cures at a home, in a hospital or in a surgical theatre.

The high school students were particularly fascinated by the anatomical table for virtual dissection, dedicated to the study of the human anatomy, that allows students to put into practice all of their accrued theoretical knowledge.
