Programme [brochure, pdf]

The educational session was held by Gianluca Bombini, a Fondazione Mondo Digitale Coach specialised in new technology. In a short interview, Gianluca describes the issues faced during the course and its objectives: use the immersive technology of virtual reality to provide entertainment that will distract young patients from their vaccinations.

Rocco Guerra, Hygiene Coordinator at the Bari ASL, is developing a video that can be viewed through the Google Cardboard Visor to distract children during vaccinations and reduce their fear. His team is working on a range of evocative scenarios.

Anna Odone, Associate Professor of Hygiene and Public Health at the “Vita-Salute San Raffaele” University, reviews the challenges addressed by the second edition of the SItI Academy.
