Twelve Elder Masters

Twelve Elder Masters

The first advanced TeleMouse course was reserved for the over-sixties who want to help train their peers in the elderly centres. They will help the other elders to perform web searches and use the e-services provided on-line by the public administration. The course, held at the Istituto tecnico commerciale Piero Calamandrei in Rome, included 12 elder students and 15 tutors.

In the audio clip, two sisters joke around with tutor Cecilia, at her second experience as a digital volunteer.
“So, if we decided to take the course again next year are you going to consider us flunkies?” asks one sister.
“No! We're just serious students,” the other replies.

Pierpaolo Musicarelli, 76 years old

Guido Festa, Telecom retiree and volunteer

Cecilia Stajano, Empowerment and Local Learning Communities Manager at FMD recorded the audioclips.
