The dancing robots of Team Pistoia 1 programmed by the young developers at the Istituto tecnico tecnologico S. Fedi in Pistoia won the Dance Secondary award at RomeCup 2011. In the other competitions, the Pistoia teams from ITTS Fedi and Leonardo from Itis Da Vinci in Arcidosso placed second and third in the Rescue Secondary category. In the Open Soccer League, the soccer robots programmed by Itis Da Vinci in Arcidosso took second place with the Manetti team.
 
At the Campidoglio, Cecilia Stajano interviewed coordinator Riccardo Niccolai and student Marta Novelli (second year student).

Ipsia Fascetti (Pisa), the Scuola Superiore S. Anna di Pisa and GRIN adhere to the network agreement for the creation of a long-term national strategy for educational robotics that was signed on March 16, 2011 at the Campidoglio.
Three school entered the competitions: "Silvano Fedi" (Pistoia) in Dance Secondary, "Da Vinci" (Arcidosso, Grosseto) in Rescue Secondary and Soccer Open League and "Manetti" (Grosseto) in Soccer Open League. The prototypes of the Scuola Superiore S. Anna di Pisa and the “Scienza ludica” Project of the Istituto superiore “Silvano Fedi” (Pistoia) will be showcased in the exhibition area. The Aquarium with robotic fish in the Campidoglio Square was set up by the Scuola Superiore S. Anna.
