Job Digital Lab – Training to Get Back in Action

Cooperation at work is key: by activating complimentary skills and co-development, work teams can innovate and generate value. In this session, participants will use digital work environments conceived to create, share, archive and collaborate on-line.

Personal attitudes are fundamental levers for professional development. During this lab, participants will learn, through a practical activity, to promote their talents, understood as a combination of individual qualities , professional styles, and abilities to focus on valuable objectives for professional advancement.

    How to narrate a brand, product or service: required skills, work phases, organisation o content. The module unites communications and marketing providing the necessary training to work on content from a creative and strategic point of view.

Ambizione Italia for Work

The educational programme, developed in collaboration with Microsoft Italia, continues with interesting new sessions starting on May 9. Every Monday until June 6, from 4-6, there will be a new course on Web Design, 5 two-hour appointments.

 

  • May 9, 16-18 - Internet: creation and future evolution. Introduction to html, functions, and main tags.
  • May 16, 16-18- Explanation of new tags; groups, links page optimisation. Various types of CSS.
  • May 23, 16-18 – Use of main tags, creation of a basic page. Links and image management.
  • May 30, 16-18 – Use of tools to simplify website development. Use and configuration of WordPress (via https://it.altervista.org/)
  • June 6, 16-18 – Development of a complete website with PLUGINs such as Elementor. Publishing blog/website on-line.

 

The course begins with the birth of the Internet and covers its entire history though contemporary technology. In parallel, explanations are provided for all the tools needed to develop a website. The first exercises will address basic HTML and then CSS. Once the basic concepts have been understood, participants will move on to the use of Framework or similar tools that can simplify the development and publishing of a website.

Starting on May 17 with sessions from 15.30 to 17.30, there will be a course on Game Development with Unity 3D. Ten two-hour appointments will guide participants through the creation of the historical 1976 Breakout videogame.

  • May 20 | Introduction to Unity 3D: Download and installation of Unity + and explanation of key points of the Engine
  • May 24 | Basics of Programming: How to use the console and Debug.Log() function of Unity
  • May 26 | Brick Breaker: how to move the paddle: How movement works in videogames and how to transform the input of the player into the movement of a game element (the paddle)
  • May 31 | Breaker: The Ball – physics and collisions in Unity3D; programming how the ball behaves
  • June 3 | Brick Breaker: Level Design, Prefabs and Bricks – Developing the first level and configurating the bricks
  • June 7 | Brick Breaker: Game Manager and Lives – Creating a general game “manager” and implementation of the “lives systems.”
  • June 10 | Brick Breaker: Implementation of the Interface – three canvasses withing the game for InGame, Game Over and Win
  • June 14 | Brick Breaker: Music, Sound Effects and Polishing – Implementation of the audio system and game animation
  • June 17 | Brick Breaker: Exportation and Publication – Developing a system of levels, final polishing, exportation and publication on Itch.io
