Together We Can

International Volunteer Day established by United Nations Resolution N. 40/212 on December 17, 1985 is celebrated on December 5 every year.

"The efforts on one billion volunteers are fundamental at this crucial moment to allow us to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic,” explained Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations Amina J. Mohammed at the opening of GTM2020 in July.

The slogan for 2020 is “Together We Can Through Volunteering” and we wish to underline this by calling all knowledge volunteers to participate in Project Starting Again Together, is a solidarity project to avoid elders become isolated and introduce them to use the health services available on-line. We want to share this new paradigm of culture and circular health with all citizens, young and old. We are all interconnected and co-responsible for each other, and we must take care of the more fragile [see news: First Person Plural].
