Thanks to the support provided by Fondazione Mondo Digitale Coaches, 60 primary and first-degree secondary school teachers in MilanRome and Naples will participate in a workshop to learn how to use the free Computer Science First Platform.

The workshops promoted by Google begin today in Naples at the Liceo G.B. Vico, directed by Maria Clotilde Paisio.

The workshop, which will be held by Coach Valentina Gelsomini, will involve 20 primary and first-degree secondary school teachers.  Project  Computer Science First is coordinated by Cecilia Stajano, FMD School Innovation Manager.

Computer Science First provides free computer science texts and easy-to-use video tutorials. All teachers, even those without any experience in this field, can create issue-based clubs and attract less motivated students to computational languages. From arts to music and fashion, simple block coding allows students to create multimedia projects and invent stories, learning to resolve complex problems and experience technology through a creative approach.
