People Power: new session in Turin on Friday
Companies are finding it increasingly difficult to find the required professional profiles as the mismatch between work supply and demand widens. According to the most recent Excelsior Bulletin, in Piedmont, 85,000 individuals will find employment by the end of the year. However, the labour shortage stands at 52.3%. Amongst the most requested skills are those that concern the green and digital transition processes.
The objective of the People Power Talent Tour, developed in collaboration with Italgas, is to introduce high school and university students, as well as graduates in STEM and economics fields related to sustainability and the digital transformation. The tour, after the first session in Rome [see news: Green Roman Champions], will be at Italgas headquarters in Turin on Friday, before heading to Bologna and Bari.
In collaboration with local universities, students will be involved in inspirational talks and creative challenges that, besides challenging them in a professional context, will allow them to come into direct contact with Italgas, thanks to informal interviews with the company’s human resources team.
Local Green Champions will be selected after each challenge to compose a Decalogue of Change describing Italgas’ commitment to the digital transformation and energy transition.
