Training and challenges for a decalogue of change
After the success of ChangeBot, the creathon with Italgas and Microsoft, we are collaborating once again with the Italian operator specialised in the distribution of gas. And, this time, it’s not just a single challenge, but a true Talent Tour that will involve over 400 university students with a programme based on listening, training, and the co-creation of ideas for a new commitment to society and a different way of experiencing enterprise life, always with a focus on the involvement of young women and gender equality.
The programme is based on two actions:
- Training - Meeting with Italgas experts and Fondazione Mondo Digitale coaches at universities in 4-5 Italian cities: Rome, Turin, Bitonto, Bologna, Atene. A creathon-preparatory training session will be held the following day on digital transformation issues. An opportunity to present Italgas to citizens and attract talent.
- Creative Challenge – a creathon with teams and mixed professional skills on concrete challenges. The contest is organised as a hackathon but does not require and specific technical skills. The creative and collaborative aspect is emphasised. Students will learn to share and cooperate to achieve an important common objective on a professional level. The hackathon will be based on an issue or challenge and the students will participate, in teams, in work sessions, elevator pitches, and have their prototypes evaluated by a jury.
At the end of the challenge, in each city, we will ask the teams (students and mentors) to contribute to the development of a policy document summarising the 10 main points that emerged from the creative challenges. This will provide Italgas to present 10 ideas to describe its commitment to youth and the country. And the decalogue will allow us to reach out to over 30,000 citizens in a share challenge for the common good.
When does it start? Immediately! The first challenge is on May 26 in Rome.
