In line with the objectives of Startup Europe Week, the Regione Lazio has organised, in collaboration with Lazio Innova, Bic Lazio, Roma Startup and X23, five events for local start-ups.
The kick-off event will be held in Rome at the Lazio Innova Offices (Via Marco Aurelio 26).
The morning will open with a debate on the state of the business ecosystem in Lazio with all the main stakeholders working with regional start-ups.
In the he session dedicated to “Local Actors,” Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, will present the experience of the Phyrtual Innovation Gym and the first pilot experience for a youth accelerator involving young men and women who are still studying.
Based on a project by the European Commission, Startup Europe Week is based on the certainty that local diversity and policies play a fundamental role in the creation and growth of startups. The initiative is being implemented throughout every European region through a variety of events and initiatives.
From February 1-5, 2016, over 200 cities will celebrate European enterprise with workshops, motivational events, information and training sessions, and networking events with a twofold objective: addressing crucial issues for startups and providing information on all the opportunities that are available at the local level, from accelerators to financial opportunities and tax incentives.
