A Space for Social Innovation

The Hallym International Forum for Social Innovation will address “Creative Space for Innovation and the Industry of the Future through Universities and Community Collaboration.” Due to the Covid-19 emergency, the forum will be held online, today (Nov. 5) from 9 am to 2 pm. The event is promoted by Hallym University, a private university in Chuncheon, Gangwon, South Korea.

 

The Korean university has invited FMD Scientific Director Alfonso MolinaPersonal Chair in Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh (where he taught for over 20 years) as a speaker. Prof. Molina will hold a presentation on “University-Community Social Innovation through Education for the Complex World of the 21st Century.”

 

This year the forum will aim to design and develop a new creative space for the university campus in Chuncheon, capital of the South Korean Province of Gangwon. The objective is to involve students as social agents in the development of the community and future industry of the city.
