Schools Accelerate

IT G. Marconi - Catania and ITTS A. Volta – Tivoli have been collaborating with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale for quite a while and have now signed an agreement for didactic and cultural exchanges.

Schools must be understood to be accelerators of society. They implement activities for digital inclusion in favour of the most disadvantage categories (elders, immigrants, disabled) and educate children to live and work in the 21st century.

These schools participate in pilot projects that the Fondazione Mondo Digitale promotes at the local level.

The three-year collaboration plan has a series of objectives: debates amongst students, cultural exchange, reciprocal hospitality, understanding and making the most of cultural differences and exchanges amongst professors and students.

Thanks to the exchange programme the students from Tivoli travelled to Catania on February 11, 2013 where they were involved in a packed programme ranging from a Robotics laboratory at the Neapolis Syracuse Archaeological Park to a visit to the company that produces photo-voltaic panels for the Greco-Roman theatre.

Students from CAatania will be welcomed to the Istituto Volta in Tivoli in April. What will be organized for them?
