Five students from the Liceo Vito Volterra in Ciampino (Rome) worked with researchers at the University of Rome Tor Vergata to develop Project Vibrasound. At the last edition of RomeCup, they won the Cobot Creative Contest, dedicated to robotic applications for rehabilitation services.

VibraSound is a robotic device developed for individuals with hearing difficulties. It is controlled by an app that allows users to set a timer and produce vibrations and flashing LEDs.

The team will continue to work on the project next year, as explained by Giuliana Pjetri, a student at the Liceo Volterra, interviewed over the telephone by Francesca Meini [Francy_fmd].

Giuliana worked with a number of school mates: Ilaria Ceccacci, Matteo Nardella, Emilia Tataro and Eleonora Tomassini. The collaboration between the school and the University of Rome Tor Vergata was coordinated by Researcher Daniele Carnevale.
