School Just Like Before

School Just Like Before

School Just Like Before

Break, Connect, Transform – these are the three urgent verbs for today’s school. Fewer live lessons, hybrid classes both in traditional and distance learning, more inputs to activate students. It’s not about opening or closing schools. It’s about having the courage to change without fear. Dario Ianes believes that now is the “moment to ask everyone to commit personally, to try and connect and build together, to recover collective energy to kick off change.”

Journalist Sara De Carli interviewed Dario Ianes before the 3rd National Conference organised by Erickson on November 13-14 (live streaming), in collaboration with Rizzoli Education, Oxford University Press and Fondazione Mondo Digitale. The conference mainly addresses schools and teachers. Indeed, 1250 teachers have registered for Didattiche.2020 – Break, Connect, Transform that begins today on-line [see PROGRAMME].

We would like to remind you that FMD Scientific Director Alfonso Molina will participate in today’s round table on Making the Point on … Equality and Schools (2-4 pm) and share this interview with you, published yesterday on the Vita magazine.

Dario Ianes is a Professor of Pedagogy and Special Didactic Activities at the University of Bolzano, Degree Programme in Primary Education, and co-founder of the Centro Studi Erickson in Trento.
