A project to fight scholastic dispersion, promote the value of excellence and develop the local context: it’s called Salerno Smart with Educational Robotics and is promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the Municipality of Salerno, as part of the greater Salerno Città Educativa initiative.
The project will organize educational workshops on robotics for the teachers of six classes at the Istituto comprensivo Salerno Quinto di Ogliara to prepare for the didactic labs with the students (primary and secondary, first and second degree levels).
The teachers have already started the learning by doing and cooperative learning methodologies; after completing the theoretical part, they will begin the practical course with the kits delivered on April 4th by Deputy Mayor Eva Avossa.
Also present at the meeting were: Michele Baldi, Educational Robotics Expert and school administrators Celestino Rocco (II Circolo Didattico di Eboli) and Giovanna Tosi.
