What's next? Human and artificial intelligence. Challenges for holistic well-being
Today, Wednesday 7 May, marks the start of RomeCup 2025, the event promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, which for eighteen years has been bringing together robotics, artificial intelligence and educational innovation in a single generative ecosystem. A transformative platform involving schools, universities, research centres, businesses, start-ups and institutions, with the aim of building educational alliances and trajectories for a shared future.
In a context of complex and accelerated transitions, RomeCup aims to be a space where human, artificial and collective intelligence converge to promote the holistic well-being of people, communities and the planet. It is a laboratory for active citizenship where technologies become tools for building trust, social imagination and digital justice.
The first day opens with the inaugural conference at the Aula Magna of the Department of Engineering of the University of Rome Tor Vergata and marks the start of a packed programme of meetings, challenges and opportunities for discussion:

14-18 | Challenge on generative AI applied to business scenarios
Leaders of small and medium-sized Italian companies meet to compete in a creative challenge and propose new ideas for innovation in business. The initiative is part of the ‘Ital.IA Lab’ project, in collaboration with Microsoft Italia, Unioncamere and Dintec (2pm – 6pm, Seminar Room).
2.30pm-6pm | AI at the service of sustainability for businesses and people
During the final Rising Youth hackathon, after a training session on the use of social media for effective business communication, students will present their prototypes to a jury of experts, who will award prizes to the winners [see info sheet].

10-18 | Robotics competitions
