An intergenerational team with many champions.
Last year, he was the youngest match director. Davide Belli, a Soccer world champion, will be refereeing again for RomeCup 2024. Luca Oliva is the professor who promoted the “Robotic Arms” Challenge believing that “RomeCup is a crescendo of emotion, education, and stimuli … a positive evolution.” He is with a team of former students.
Sophia Rondinelli, 22, is studying mechanical engineering. She is one of the 23 students who participated in the Italgas hackathon to create bias-less chatbots without gender stereotypes, which she defines as “one of the most beautiful and illuminating experiences in which I have participated.” At RomeCup 2024, she will work with high school students as a tutor on the challenges proposed in the hackathon.
And these are just a few of the protagonists of the intergenerational team organised by Valentina Gelsomini, Technical Infrastructure and Educational Resources Manager. We will share their stories in the following days.
