Categories, regulations, and participation
The RomeCup, which will be hosted by the University of Rome Tor Vergata on March 20-22, 2024, is a multi-event promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale dedicated to three axes of the innovation ecosystem: robotics, artificial intelligence and life sciences.
During the event, schools from all over Italy compete for the International City of Rome Robotics Trophy.
We invite all schools in Italy working with robotics to participate in one or more of the following categories: On Stage (Preliminary and Advanced), Explorer (Junior and Senior), Soccer (Open League and Light Weight), Rescue (Line and Simulation) and Robotic Arms [see regulations].
The 17th edition will introduce the first Italian “Superteam” Championship. Competitions in the Rescue Line and Soccer categories will become a true championship to encourage collaboration and the exchange of knowledge between teams of students from different schools. Both categories will adopt international regulations [see regulations].
Schools will also be able to participate in the showcase area, exhibiting innovative robotics and AI prototypes at their stands.
Participation in the event is free.
To register school teams for the competitions or for a stand in the showcase area, please complete the application form by January 31.
