The RomeCup 2013 – Excellence in Robotics in Rome will be held on March 20-22 at the Rome Città Educativa and the Campidoglio. The event is promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with the support of the Rome Chamber of Commerce and in collaboration with ANP (School Managers and Professionals Association) and Comau Robotics, ENEA, STMicroelectronics, Zucchetti Centro Sistemi and Media Direct. “La Scuola Possibile” is the official media partner.
Tomorrow, 22 March 2013, at 9.30 am, the final competition phases will be held Campidoglio Sala della Protomoteca along with the Awards Ceremony. There will also be an exhibition of NAO humanoid robots that will compete guided by the voice of the audience thanks to the “La Sapienza” University of Rome’s Department for IT and Automation Engineering and the “JMD - Jobot Matching Day” that will allow students to meet universities and companies.
During the JMD, Zucchetti Centro Sistemi Spa, a leading IT and Robotics company will launch this initiative to help train and recruit students in companies. Can Robotics provide job opportunities? What kind of education is required? How can we improve job matching? The speakers will discuss these and other issues.
