Two teams from the Istituto Superiore Cicerone win the Italian Robotics Champions Title
“RomeCup has meant a lot to us in these years,” explains Professor Antonio Anzalone, while the students are preparing for the final match at the Rome Campidoglio (May 5, 2023). “The students had some extraordinary experiences.”
Ten years ago, for the first time, the Istituto superiore Cicerone from Sala Consilina (Salerno) participated in the RomeCup competitions with three students. This year, the school was present with 27 students and 10 teams. Two teams in the Explorer Category conquered the Italian Robotics Championship Title.
- Explorer Junior: Team ES9K (Simone Calicchio and Emanuele Rega, Class 4A)
- Explorer Senio: Team Robot Shock (Giuseppe Aluotto, Angelo Scorziello, Jacopo Prospero Petrizzo and Angelo Ferricelli, Classes 5A and 5B).
Team Bat bot (Daniel Monaco, Daniele Schettino and Rocco Racamato, Class 3A ) placed second in the Explorer Junior Category.
